Del Fosse Winery is often cited as one of the most picturesque vineyards and wineries in all of Virginia.  The winery itself lies almost completely surrounded by the long rows of vines growing up the surrounding hillsides.  Del Fosse even features hiking trails and rental cabins, as well as hosting weddings and other events.  The wines themselves? As they say 'Nelle botti piccine ci sta il vino buono!'

Flying Fox Vineyard has been an active vineyard for years, and in 2006 they began making their own wines.  Their philosophy of winemaking is to 'work with small batches of fruit that have the most desirable characteristics of the terroir and each individual varietal. We want to make the most honest wine possible from the very best grapes.'  Three of Flying Fox's wines won medals in the 2009 Virginia Governor's Cup.  

Wintergreen Winery is conveniently located in between Wintergreen Mountain Resort and Stoney Creek at Wintergreen.  As one of the largest and most established wineries in the area, Wintergreen Winery  has been the recipient of too many awards to count.  Their store also boasts all manner of delicacies to go along with their outstanding wines, and tours of the winery are available. 

Afton Mountain Vineyards boasts one of the most spectacular views in the area, as well as award winning wines.  Their selection of wines includes wonderful Cabernets, Chardonnays, Gewürztraminer, and a delightful Sparkling Wine made in the traditional French champenoise style.

Cardinal Point was established in 1985 and lies at the foot of Afton Mountain as a vineyard supplying outstanding grapes for use in wineries.  As their reputation for outstanding work grew throughout the 80's and 90's, the Gormans were finally able to realize their dream and began profducing their own wines in 2002.  Their 2008 Quattro (a blend of four wines) was awarded two Bronze medals this year in both the Monticello Wine Cup and  the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition.

Hill Top Berry Farm and Winery was originally a pic-your-own berry farm known for growing some of the best blackberries anywhere.  Since expanding into winemaking in the1990's, Hill Top has become renowned for their many different styles of fruit wines including, of course, Blackberry Wine as well as cherry, apple, raspberry and pear wines.
